Some people have best friends in whom they can confide about their deepest secrets or gravest concerns. They’re there to talk to you about the things that are on their mind, and vice versa.   I know from experience that talking about really deep concerns to best friends can be difficult. That concern can be worrying about a parent’s illness, financial problems in the family, or problems within the family in general, etc. But whatever the issue is, it is difficult at times to express your worries without feeling like you’re putting too much of a load on your best friends.   Friends, no matter how close they are to us, have limits too and they have their own problems to deal with. I know that most of the time I can rely on my friends for help (which can be just them listening to me complain) and they can rely on me also, but it’s not always easy. We can’t rely on each other for everything, but having the thought that there are people to confide in is comforting in itself.   Do you have anyone to confide in when something’s troubling you? How do you confide in someone about that kind of stuff?   – Allyson
