I know that a lot of parents and adults are concerned by alarming statistics about the increased risks when it comes to teen driving, but to put teens completely at fault with bad driving habits isn’t something I agree with. While yes, some of us aren’t mature enough to drive responsibly, some of the blame for bad driving habits can go to our influences, especially when it comes to road rage.   There are some parents (and adults in general) who start some form of road rage while their children are in the same car. It’s both frightening and dangerous to the children, and at some point the driving habits of our parents start to rub off on us. Then there are motorists who don’t have the least bit of respect for basic laws like letting people cross the street when it’s clearly the pedestrian’s turn to cross. They just keep driving through like they own the street.   It’s people like that who set some (really bad) examples for new drivers. When those people are our own parents, it’s even worse.   – Allyson
