If you haven’t read it already the latest article of Switched-On is about teens and parents getting along. Teens and parents do have a hard time getting along. Someone is always making the other mad. The teen is probably staying out past curfew or not listening to the parents because we as teens think that we are independent. We think we can do whatever we want, when we want. Sometimes parents are just looking out for us. I know you think I’m even crazy for saying that but it’s the truth. I personally don’t even want to believe it. I also fight with my parents because I want to do this and they want to do that. It gets frustrating at times.

Fighting does lead to more problems that we can’t help. For example the teen will shut the parents of their lives completely and grow apart from them.  Then there are some parents that aren’t even in their children’s lives, but that can make things even worse on a whole different level. Fighting with you parents isn’t a good idea. Teens need to share some information about their daily lives. If things do get out of hand then there are many options of how to solve this issue. I’m just letting you know that you’re definitely not alone.
