Do you ever feel like the fact that people look different is a curse?  I always feel two ways about it.  I love that I’m the only person who looks exactly how I do, and seeing all the different faces, but then I feel like if everyone looked exactly the same the way we look wouldn’t be an issue when it came to being attracted to someone.  If looks weren’t an issue then a person’s personality would be what you’re really falling in love with and you could fall in love with who a person truly is a lot easier.  People would also be more comfortable with themselves and there would be a lot less teasing and so who people really are would shine through more.    I’ve always wanted to meet my soul mate and I think it would be easier if I wasn’t distracted by if he’s traditionally unpleasant looking.  I really want to know if someone will truly be there for me.  Whether I get cancer, or am in a horrible car accident, burned….I want someone who cares.  And I feel like, if features didn’t matter, maybe I’ll be actually able to find him.   – Kelsey
