Whenever I feel stressed out, I tend to turn to certain hobbies I’ve come to enjoy. And lately, I’ve been thinking about the various hobbies I have personally and comparing them to the hobbies of my friends. It’s a rather interesting contrast sometimes.   For me, I’m into the crafting stuff. I’ve done knitting, clay sculpting, papercrafting, and other stuff like that. For my friends, it ranges from things similar to what I’m interested in to things like hiking or scuba diving. The variety interests me since it really shows a lot about everyone’s personalities.   Overall, all of these seem to help us relieve stress and take our mind off things. Though in the end, one must still face the issues at hand because denial is not the way to go. But I’d like to know… what do YOU like to do when you’re freaking out about something or need to take your mind off things? What’s your individualized coping mechanism? And if you don’t really have one, what do you think you’d totally enjoy? – Vivian
