I hope that I’m not the only one that notices how easily people can get by in school on next to no effort on their part. I also hope that I’m not the only one who is slightly annoyed by it. Sliding through life on the good graces of others does sound great, though with my consciousness, one that won’t even let me get away with breaking out my phone during class, it’s not something that I can revel in, and I don’t really see who could. What do you guys think? Is there natural talent and then brownnosing, or is there something more? Disappointingly, I have fallen into this, though it’s something that I cannot be proud of. I want my merits to be based on effort, not on luck or someone else’s kindness, or laziness, as it can be at times. Recently, one of my teachers passed the entire class with A’s for doing no homework whatsoever. How would that make you feel?   – Eric
