Crash diets, fad diets, nondiets. Even with all of their alleged benefits I still can’t seem to throw a good word their way. I bet it’s because of their not serving food that tastes decent. Or not? Eating hasn’t been one of my favorite activities lately though I’m not sure if that’s due to body image or stress. Eating’s become more of a need rather than an enjoyable activity, or even a hobby. Though it seems like a good thing, when I do eat I don’t seem to be eating the most nutritious meals, never mind anything filling. Should I though, eat when I’m not hungry? Should any of us? I think it’s a bit disappointing, how dieting and self-starvation can be so similar, intentional or not. Being called anorexic indirectly was a bit of a shock for me, definitely not something I wanted to hear. Dieting can be a way to a healthy lifestyle, though there is a correct way to do it. I can’t say that I’ve found it, have any of you?   – Eric
