It is my last official day of high school. As if to go against all expectations (mine at least), this academic year has actually ended on really good terms. In spite of all the “drama” that has attached itself to the events of the past four years, both of a personal and an academic nature, I find myself appreciative of the humility I have gained as a result of all experiences. In my opinion, there are no bad or good experiences, only those from which we learn.   I’m grateful that I’ve come this far and have survived in high school (though don’t let those silly teen movies about high school make you believe it’s actually like that!). While there are a lot of things I didn’t intend to happen but happened anyway, I don’t like to dwell on the past. Now I’m focused on moving forward.   My advice to juniors: continue working diligently in school during your senior year. In spite of what people say, senior year is no year to relax (completely at least) because colleges and universities do check how you fare senior year. Believe me, you’ll avoid a lot of worry if you continue working as hard as you did junior year. To the underclassmen: well, you’ve got 2-3 more years. Shape up now if you haven’t already.   – Allyson
