To tell the truth, I’m an easily annoyed person because I have a lot of pet peeves. Having my property (e.g. school supplies) destroyed/lost after lending it out, being snapped at for no apparent reason except the fact that the person can’t deal with their own stress, and people getting too much into my personal space all tend to bother me. I would think anyone would be annoyed if their property was getting destroyed/lost after lending it out though I probably express it more than anyone else. I openly express my dislike toward the things mentioned above — it does help for some things though not for all. It doesn’t help to tell someone to stop snapping because of their own stress though I do it anyway because unlike Eric, I’m not the friend who just takes everything and doesn’t say no. Telling people to get out of my space, however, does help get people out of my personal space; I mean, hugs and taps on the shoulder are okay and I let them be — but poking and other forms of bodily contact really bother me and now my friends understand and let me have my safe distance.   What are your pet peeves? How do you deal with them?   – Vivian
