As much as I love the summer months, there is something I do every summer that I never look forward to. It’s not the ravenous mosquitoes, but the everlasting quest for a summer job. After all these years, I have learned a couple things and would like to pass that wisdom on to others. Therefore, here are some tips on finding a summer job. Perhaps the biggest tip I can give is talking to people you already know. Everyone has a parent, sibling, or friend that probably knows someone who can give you a job so try using the connections you already have. My next tip would be to look at local community centers, museums, and theatres because they are always looking for extra help especially in the summer. I also recommend looking at job programs offered by schools or government offices that help teens find jobs. My last and probably best tip is not to give up because in the summer time employers know that teenagers are looking for jobs so they offer more jobs to them. I hope that helps the search and good luck.   – Ruben
