Remember a couple months ago when the election was all anyone could talk about and how passionate people were about a new president? Well, a new survey by the Washington Post-ABC News found that only 49% of Americans have confidence in President Obama and with what he’s doing. His approval rating now is 57%, so neither of those scores is great especially when combined. Some may be wondering what the problem is, and some may have a problem with the President. I, for one, think he’s headed in the right direction*. The Clash for Clunkers program was genius in my opinion since it helped stir the economy and put safer, more energy efficient cars on the street. The biggest issue now, besides the economy, is health care, which I like, I think. It seems like to get a clear picture on all this I have to search a million news articles. President Obama needs to be clearer and tell us his plan, like on primetime television so that people know exactly what’s going on. We probably brought this on ourselves though, due to some people’s blind faith that Obama would just take care of it, somehow.
