For most juniors and seniors, this coming school year pretty much means one thing: college. Having already endured the tedious and grueling process I offer some advice I have to give. The biggest decision seems to be what colleges to apply for and then attend. First, don’t worry about your major because rarely does a person keep the major they started as a freshman. Second, there is no shame in community college; the only real difference is there are no dorms and its way cheaper. You can also always transfer to another school with out it negatively affecting you. Third, college is an adventure try applying to colleges in cities where you might want to live or even countries overseas. You’ll get to study, have a place to live, and check out a brand new city or country. The first years of college teach the basics regardless of the school so when you’re not in College Math 101 relish in your independence. Remember the classroom is only half the experience so make sure you enjoy it all. – Ruben
