Two small things are on my mind this week. One is the fact that so many stores are closing. There is Blockbuster, Waldenbooks/Borders, KB Toys, and some other stores. I find it sad and depressing that so many people are losing their jobs during this economic hardship we are going through. I also liked those stores. I did actually like to rent movies from Blockbuster. Now you have to rent everything from your TV or computer. That leads to no DVD players. So in some ways, technology isn’t helping so much as it’s taking away jobs and changing the way we do certain things.

But the next thing on my mind is that Avatar made a worldwide total to $1.841 billion. If people keep watching the movie it will beat Titanic. That is just amazing. I thought Avatar was a really good movie – and it was all technology! I am glad that people love that movie.
