As you gets older, it is inevitable that more responsibilities will befall you. Handling it may be rather difficult, especially if you’re used to the carefree lifestyle of a child and now you are suddenly given the responsibility of choosing a high school, or choosing a college and then the sheer number of courses available for you to choose from. Aside from school, you may also be thrown into a new world where fashion matters, there’s popularity differences, drama, and much more. Sometimes it’s rather overwhelming — I can tell you that from my own experience. In terms of what is the best way to handle it varies from person-to-person. For some people who likes challenges, they might take it up willingly and get through everything in one go. For others, it may be easier to divide bigger tasks into smaller tasks to deal with while taking breaks. The most important thing is to remember to know where your limits are. At one point, I didn’t know and had several emotional breakdowns but now I know the best way to deal with my tasks and now I deal with situations much better.
