The loss of a friend or family member sucks. There is absolutely no other way to put it. Whether it is over a period of time or completely unexpected, it still sucks. The loss of life is one of the more difficult things in life to comprehend, and dealing with that loss is just as hard to understand. No one ever wishes for death in their life, but it is a reality of it. The best one can do when confronted with such a challenge, is to simply survive it. Death brings sadness, confusion, anger, which can severely crippled any human being, but continuing to strive in one’s own life is all that can really be done. Remembrance is a key factor, but not one based on loss but rather one based on appreciation of a life lived. Having someone taken from you can be so traumatic, but letting that loss create an environment of despair is an even greater loss. Moving forward, whether fast or slowly is all one can do.
