It’s bad enough that Facebook has completely taken over an entire generation’s free time, but now there’s “drama” on it. Facebook drama is about as important as that freckle on your arm so don’t even give it a second thought. The Internet has become the new talking-behind-someone’s-back, except there’s a public record of the exchange. Posting something mean on Facebook allows people to attack others without any real consequences besides hurt feelings. It can be done safely from home and is out of the schools and parent’s jurisdiction. The truth is that it is this generation’s rumor mill and the equivalent of passing around a mean note. It is unnecessary and can create even bigger problems for everyone since the speed of that harsh action can take seconds to reach a student body. Don’t do it and remember to think before you type because some misuse of Facebook can break a high school experience.
