Sometimes it’s times when kids don’t fit in at school, other times it’s kids that fit in well but are getting bad grades in school. I am a straight A student, I am really popular and I am on the football team. I am trying to tell you that working hard and getting good grades will pay off someday but popularity probably won’t because when you get to high school your senior year there is not going to be a gang of kids around you whenever you do something right (unless you go to college, which is probably a good choice). Now getting good grades will pay off someday – you could get an academic scholarship to whatever college you want to go to and get a degree and get paid big bucks. I want to play high school, college and professional football one day but I can’t just do that with popularity or good looks. I have to work hard and get good grades to even move from grade to grade. Think about that. Wouldn’t you rather be in Hawaii chilling on the beach counting the millions of dollars that you have or stuck in your guardian’s basement?
