We often hear the society’s emphasis on education on newspapers and TV shows. But as a teenager, it is hard to keep education in focus with our daily lives. There are always so many things going on. Some of us have part-time jobs while others may have problems with family members or classmates. In addition to that, not every teacher is welcoming enough and able to keep classrooms engaging. However, it is important to keep your studying active. Keeping a goal to go to college or doing well at school can help you in many ways. In our society today, higher paid jobs, more often than not, require a college degree. But more than what’s often repeated on newspaper, studying keeps you on a track to continuously challenge yourself to learn. When you put a lot of effort into learning something and excel at it, you will feel more confident about yourself because you have something to be proud of. Such process also keeps you out of troubles with classmates and makes it easier for you to make new friends.
