If you are like me you have so many observations of what needs to be changed that at times it can be stressful. I know it’s hard to understand the fact that change is hard to instill and slow going at that especially when we have seen the world change so much in our lifetime and in the past 200 years. One thing to keep in mind is that the changes we wish to incur must start small no matter how big the dream is to start. The best way to begin is with our interactions with the people who surround us because not many people on the street are going to listen to someone they don’t know or recognize no matter how well argued or how loud you scream it. I know it’s hard to do but we, as people with passion, must pursue what we can at the moment and put aside what we cannot. It will do no good to shout at someone that is littering because it will most likely make them feel bad, not like you, and enforce the bad behavior by way of them trying to oppose you the one they have set their hard feeling on. Instead, one suggestion is to either just be a good samaritan and pick it up yourself or get a job/volunteer position with an environmental agency. In the end, most people follow examples, not screamers.
