Many teenagers, especially girls, have the tendency to try and keep up with the latest fashion trends and look fashionable. But sometimes, fashion does not equate comfort. I am going to say heels are definitely not the most comfortable shoes I’ve walked in, especially not for long periods of time but they do look pretty. And circle lenses? Sure they make your eyes look big and cute and give you many options for colors, but probably not the best choice especially if you don’t need contact lenses to begin with. And leggings in the winter? I’d like to be warm– as much as some of my friends insist that layering leggings provides enough warmth, I’ll stick with my pants. In the past, there were corsets and foot-binding; now it’s less severe but nonetheless, there are still many uncomfortable garments and accessories that are considered fashionable. I’m not saying that all fashionable items are uncomfortable but many are. Why can’t comfort and fashion coexist more often?
