The latest issue of Switched-On is about balance. Many students have to balance homework and extracurricular activities. Sometimes it may be hard to balance such things, especially if there is a sport involved. Sports usually have practice every night after school for a few hours. Then it would be time for homework but sometimes you are too tired but if you don’t do the homework consequences will occur. This is a problem that usually occurs in high school or elementary school. In college it is very different. Yes, classes are not the majority of the day because they may only last 3 or so hours but you still need balance in your life. You want to have a social life as well but you should always make time for homework. Homework should be a priority before social life because getting good grades in college gets you far. Getting bad grades in high school was ok because you know the teacher will help you raise it. In college it is not that easy. That is why learning to balance your time early is best in the long run.
