A while back I went to a piercing and tattoo parlor with my friend so she could get her lip pierced and recently she got another piercing. As I was there waiting for her to get done, I was watching someone get her tattoo done. Some of my other friends have also gotten tattoos and I just started thinking — they’re for the most part permanent unless you get surgery to remove it; so what if you don’t like it anymore or what if they mess up and fail at making it look nice (after all that you paid)? After all, it’s on your skin and most people get it done where it’s visible. But then I thought a lot of decisions in life are a lot like getting a tattoo – permanent and irreversible. Sure, you can try and fix it afterwards, but it doesn’t change that fact that it happened. So, what can I say? Think twice before you make any decisions that you might regret and have to spend a lot of effort to fix because a mark will be left in your life even after you try and fix it.
