Much have we stereo typed and degraded the purity of beauty that can be achieved with an open mind. I tire of the same old twig thin supermodel with perfect skin moving around the set like some type of sex object. I would much rather see sadness or anger or ecstasy captured in reality by chance the way a nature photographer might capture a rare moment in the wilderness. Why do we idolize what so few can achieve or that is but the rarest of our society? This is coming from someone who is twig thin and has blonde hair and blue eyes and strong Swedish cheekbones, so please don’t try to say, “Oh but you would not complain if you were the one that people idolized.” Do you realize how hard it is to talk with people at times because all they see of me is my body? I want to see more people with glasses and wild uncanny beauty that is achieved by the eyes when someone has gone through hardship and survived. I want to see naked people that aren’t of the perfect standard and still stand with pride and charm. What happened to voluptuous women being beautiful? What happened to quirky nonstandard interest being appealing? What happened to the photographs or drawings in pictures being of real people and not airbrushed? I guess I just want people to try to attain reality.
