Some teenagers may get a set amount of allowance every month from their parents or they might work for their own money. Chances are, most of them don’t realize that they should probably not spend it all in one go. Personally, I got like $10 a week in high school and now $20 a week in college — but I recently got a job, so that makes it much easier to save. However, back then, when I wanted something, I would have to set aside half of my allowance a week and save like that. It was easier in high school because I had free lunch but in college — it got kind of harder with more social events to attend and lunch to purchase. However, I still tried to save up for the things I wanted instead of asking for more money or going without. The process of saving up also allows for me to have more time to consider if I want the thing I want too. Try it!
