I know that it seems hard to accept change in situations around yourself, but I think it’s even more difficult, for the most part, to accept change from within. I find that the two are highly connected, as I find myself coming into conflict with my friends more than ever, as a result of one which leads to the other. To better yourself, emotionally, or even physically, is an arduous task in itself. Maybe that’s why it hurts more when people can’t accept it, accept you, because they don’t think that it is “you”. I’m changing, I can feel it, and I know for sure that it’s for the better; I’m sure that plenty of you are changing in the same way; you’re encountering the same resistance from your friends, aren’t you? Whether you resolve to never be bullied again, or to never cry for the sake of it, it’s for you, and I just think that if that option can do more good for yourself, you take it. Despite what we may think, people are rather selfless in even choosing to interact with others, if you look at it in a certain way. You could be a loner, but you allow people to sit by your side. Let’s hope they’ll allow you that bit of change.
