Colleges are becoming increasingly expensive. The recent raise of debt ceiling, the budget cut and the economic crisis only make matters worse because not only it is harder for students to get a job, many of us will not be able to receive educational aid from the government and our family members might not be able to support us as much as they used to. Those facts also mean that many more young people will not go to college, especially people from lower income backgrounds, or people of colors. For those of you who are struggling with paying for school now, do not give up hopes yet. A college degree will get your farther than you can imagine and education will pay back to you in the end. Meanwhile, looking for alternatives like 2-year colleges will reduce the cost significantly. So if you are wondering if college is still in your reach, why not try searching for many scholarships out there. Don’t give up hopes on your education!
