Too many young people are afraid to try. Everywhere we look, we can only see the glorification of success that we are almost obliged to have should we ever try anything. So we stop trying. There’s too much uncertainty. And the other half of the road is only for losers – or so we think. Failure is a beautiful aspect of life. It helps us reassess our self-image and provide a powerful reality check. If you fail, so what? You can try again, but with better strategies this time. You might break down your goals into smaller steps, but don’t give up or settle for less.

    It is just so hard becaus when we tentively start to try something new, someone (parents) always cuts us down. They will always say you aren’t trying or something. They think I we are a disgrace. Why can’t they realize that we aren’t perfect?
