It’s time for us to acknowledge that just like carrying umbrella does not create rain, discussing about sexual health does not encourage people to have sex. In Europe where people freely discuss about sexual health and prevention tools are readily accessible, teenagers are less likely to have sex and fewer teen pregnancies occur. Everybody needs to learn about his/her own body. Making sex a mysterious, un-discussed phenomenon makes young people more curious and more likely to act recklessly. When people understand their own health and bodies, sex will be considered as just another biological process of our lives. Ignoring facts for the sake of one’s own ideology is simply idiotic.
