Being in school, even though I hate to say it, is the best security blanket ever. It keeps you away from the real world, which seems so scary at times, and it makes me wonder how people can want to drop out at sixteen to dive right into it. I still don’t know who I’ll be when I grow up, or even if I’ll ever feel grown up. It’s odd, knowing that someday you’ll be on your own, making your own decisions that affect more than who you’ll date, or what you’ll have for lunch that day. I still have issues with just those decisions alone. Asking for more of me is asking too much right now. Yet, I feel that when you’re ready, you’ll know it, and you’ll know too just what you’ll want to do with your life. I know, I know, knowing and doing are two different things, but, isn’t knowing half the battle? I haven’t even begun to fight, but anyone that has, or even anyone who’s getting there themselves, throw in your two cents.
