Some of us live in a home; others live in a foster home. I have a friend who is in foster care and it was rough for her. She hated the group home and hated the system. To her it was terrible and she would tell me about it. Now she’s in a foster family, and she’s a lot happier. Being in the system is something that can be extremely difficult. Being under constant watch and having to be timed on the phone can be frustrating. Even so, being in the system shouldn’t restrict you from doing extraordinary things. Any one can be amazing and talented it doesn’t matter where we come from it just matters who we decide to be. I’ve meet some kids who got adopted and they didn’t turn out so well, but I also have a friend who lost her family and got put in the system and is doing great things with her life. Don’t let these things stop you from being who you want to be, just because you’re a foster child doesn’t mean you’re any different from someone else. Everyone has potential it’s up to us to show it.
