Every one feels different about their first time when they have sex. Some are lucky and get a good experience, but some of us aren’t so lucky. Some of us didn’t get to choose who we lose it to or how we looe our V-card, for some it’s taken. Stolen. Take me for example, when I was 6 going on 7 I was left alone frequently in the house, except my half brothers would be there. They weren’t there to babysit me or take care of me and because I was so young I was vulnerable I didn’t know much. One day my half brother took me into a room and told me he was just playing a game, a game I didn’t know. He undressed me and did what he enjoyed. Since I was left alone so frequently, my half brothers would come over and do it over and over again. I went along with it because I didn’t know what was happening to me or my body. Sexual abuse, sexual harassment, and rape, happen more often than we know to both men and women, boys and girls, and the sad part is it’s more common to happen with family members or friends because it makes it easier, rather than strangers coming out of a bush. Just because it happens to us and their ‘family’ doesn’t mean we have to be silent. Speaking up is still something that should be done, your not alone if it’s happened to you.
