Being on the internet can be entertaining, but it has its risk. Depending on the sites that you access, the internet can be very dangerous. However, you can have fun on the internet as well as use it for researching purposes. Thus, an increasing risk of cyber bullying has come up over the past few years, more and more teens are falling victim of being bullied online. Even so, there are advantages of networking online, from being able to keep up with friends that live long distances away, to doing homework together by video chatting. Being able to network is fun, but doesn’t have to be everything we do. We don’t need to be online all the time. Sometimes it gets boring and there’s nothing to do. The best thing to do is to do active things with friends as well as on our own. Social networking is great on many levels, but it can also pull people apart from being online for long periods of time, as well as having people you don’t really speak to as a “friend.” When you’re networking make sure it’s with people you trust and actually know in person. Don’t socialize with those whom cause trouble and you’ve never meet before it’s a great risk to give your personal information on a networking site and not knowing where it’s going, so be careful and have fun.
