In school we all get pushed and shoved in the halls, we all curse and call each other names at times, but sometimes it isn’t playing around or by accident. Sometimes it’s painful and wrong and it’s called bullying and we’ve all heard of it. It’s something some of us may have done and have felt. Choosing to be bullied or to bully is up to the individual. Speaking up and taking of the labels others put on us is always a choice, to stop hurting others and to apologize is also something we can always do. None of us are perfect but neither do we have to feel imperfect in any way. Being in either position isn’t good either you’re being hurt or you’ll be remembered as the one who hurts-and all the names that come with it. In 10 years after you graduate you just may end up working for the person who you bullied and finding them as your boss wouldn’t be the best thing. So choose wisely what you do today, because 10 years from now it won’t matter what jeans you wore, what your hair looked like, but the person who you hurt will have scars. 10 years from now the bully may still bully if you don’t take the stand and the bullying may progress to something else. Speak up. Take the stand. Live and shine.
