National Recovery Month is dedicated to recognizing and celebrating those who are in recovery for mental and substance use disorders and those who provide the treatment and services. Recovery Month is about promoting the message that recovery is possible and informing people of the available services. This month is sponsored by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). SAMHSA is a government agency is committed to being a leader in behavioral health and providing resources.
