5 Ways to Get Involved in NRPM
November is National Runaway Prevention Month (NRPM) and is co-sponsored each year by the National Runaway Switchboard and the National Network for Youth. The goals of NRPM are to raise awareness about the issues that runaways and homeless youth face, and educate the public about solutions to preventing youth from running away from home.

If you want to help raise awareness, here’s what you can do:

– Print out materials from our website to pass out at school.
– Join our Street Team to raise awareness in your community.
– Follow us on Facebook and Twitter and repost information about NRPM.
– Spread the word – ask your friends and family to get involved.
– Make a display sign for the library.
– Ask for time to speak about NRPM during an assembly.

There are more ideas on ways to get involved in the NRPM section of our website.
