December 10th has been recognized as Human Rights Day since December 10, 1948. This day is globally celebrated and it recognizes the works of people worldwide who act to end discrimination. It seems that every year Human Rights Day is used not only to celebrate human rights but to highlight a specific issue and advocate for full enjoyment of human rights by everyone. This year will highlight the right of all people (women, youth, minorities, persons with disabilities, indigenous people, the poor and marginalized) to be heard in public life and political decision making. Are you a comrade for human rights to be celebrated by all? If you are want to get involved or spread the word, check out the website.
