It doesn’t have to be that way. Filmmaker Michael Leoni spent 5 years interviewing 300 homeless youth for the documentary “American Street Kid.”  According to the trailer below, Leoni originally set out to do a PSA on youth homelessness, but the project turned into an odyssey to shed light on a national epidemic of runaway youth.
