NRS Expands Running For Runaways Team to Minneapolis Marathon at the Depot

The National Runaway Switchboard's Running For Runaways team expanded to include the Minneapolis Half-Marathon and 5K, held on Sunday, May 31, 2009.
Runners were recruited by NRS Board Member John Roy, and included Roy, Stephanie Little of Wisconsin, James Schwinghammer of Minnesota, and Jessica Van Egeren of Wisconsin. So far, the Minneapolis team has raised over $2,000 for the National Runaway Switchboard.
This is the fifth year that NRS has had a running team fundraise for the agency. In October, other members of the team will participate in the Bank of America Chicago Marathon.
