Chicago Street Team raise awareness for NRPM
Twenty Street Team members participated in the 3rd annual Green Light Project Event in downtown Chicago.
On Thursday, November 4th, with the help of Evergreen Supply Company, NRS Street Team passed out 2,000 green light bulbs to passers-by on Michigan Avenue in downtown Chicago. Evergreen Supply Company, located on the southside of Chicago, donated 1,500 green light bulbs and provided ten volunteers to help with the event.
Each November, NRS implements the Green Light Project. The green lights acts as a symbol to encourage supporters across the country to raise awareness about the runaway issue. All community members are invited to show support in a manner as easy as flipping on a light switch!
