The National Runaway Switchboard (NRS) recently filmed a new Public Service Announcement (PSA) featuring Grammy award-winning artist, actor, and philanthropist Chris "Ludacris" Bridges. The PSA promotes the new live chat service as another option for youth and their families to get in touch with NRS’ frontline team for crisis intervention and over 13,000 resources.

The PSA continues to expand a partnership between The Ludacris Foundation and NRS that began in 2007 with the release of the award-winning single "Runaway Love".

The new live chat service allows for an immediate response followed by an uninterrupted dialogue with a crisis intervention specialist. The service hours are from 4:30 pm - 10:00 pm Central Standard Time (CST). Youth and their families are still encouraged to call 1-800-RUNAWAY for immediate help.
The PSA can be viewed on YouTube. For more information on live chat and/or to view other NRS PSAs visit www.1800RUNAWAY.org.
