Support Running For Runaways Team

Member Evan Byer!

Why did you decide to run for NRS?

I used to volunteer at NRS and was always interested in running.   Seemed to make sense, running for the runaway youth.  I think it's a wonderful organization and I'm happy to be doing this.

Is this your first marathon? If not, is it your first Chicago Marathon?

Yup, first marathon.

What goals do you have for yourself during training?

There aren't too many goals besides completing it.

Oh, and injury-free training (I hope my knees still like me after I cross the finish line).

Any tips for your teammates?

Exercise yourselves to your bereft.

What’s a fun fact about yourself that you haven’t shared?

My birthday is July 4th. When I was really young, I thought the fireworks were for me.
