Video Showcase: Guest Room

Guest Room, a finalist in The Doorpost Film Project, follows a homeless youth and a middle-aged man, each searching for hope. Along the way, they find friendship and an outcome neither anticipated.

The film covers 2000 miles of diverse American landscape. It will take you to places rarely captured on film. Yet, at its heart is a character driven drama that carries us through the life of a friendship, that proves to us that we need people to uncover truth in our lives, and that the ones who leave the greatest impact are the ones we least expect to.

For at-risk, runaway, and homeless youth, the National Runaway Switchboard answers a call for hope. We have reunited more than 13,000 families through the Home Free program.
