Lifetime Teams up with National Runaway Switchboard

Lifetime Television teamed up with the National Runaway Switchboard.

 

Lifetime Original Movie Augusta, Gone, “tells the gripping tale of a mother’s battle to save her rebellious teen-age daughter from a downward spiral of drugs, alcohol, anger and self-loathing,” the network said.

 

As part of its efforts to aid the National Runaway Switchboard, the network will air an original public-service announcement featuring Augusta, Gone stars Sharon Lawrence and Tim Matheson, pointing homeless youths and concerned parents toward resources.

 

Lifetime’s Web site (www.lifetimetv.com) will also include a special section with Augusta, Gone trailers, interviews and links to nonprofit resources and organizations.
