I read recently that in one college students are given time to literally scream the day before their exams. I think that’s a rather…interesting way to deal with stress…   People have different coping mechanisms to deal with stress from school, work, or just life in general. Some people listen to music when they get home from school, some work on their hobbies, and some scream their hearts out before they cram for tests, apparently. There are a lot of ways to deal with stress.   Even though it’s only the beginning of the school year, I already feel a little bit more stressed out than I was at the beginning of last year, but that’s only because of my working on college applications (which at this point feels like an additional class). I realize, though, that I have to stand back a little to keep my sanity.   Lately I’ve been catching up with some of the TV shows I’ve missed to relax a little. It’s amazing how watching fictional people’s drama can be so relieving. I’ve also made time for family outings, which is really relaxing as well.   How about you?
