NRS to Start New Initiative through Social Media to Better Service Runaway Youth

NRS Social Media is Committed to the Service of Runaway Youth

The National Runaway Safeline has existed for more than 40 years, and in that time the organization has evolved to keep up with advances in technology. This is reflected in our teleconferencing options, our live chat for runaway youth, our texting option and our new website.

In our innovative efforts to continue to serve runaway, homeless and at-risk youth, we are launching a new initiative through our several social media channels. Our staff will be leveraging platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and Instagram to reach youth in need and parents who need information about nearby resources.

You can expect valuable information in our newest blog posts. We will share views of our staff in action. We will feature our fantastic volunteers and their invaluable contributions. Most importantly, all of our actions will help to serve our mission: to help keep America’s runaway, homeless and at-risk youth safe and off the streets.
