Training Opportunities

As experts in our field, NRS has an extensive history of offering comprehensive trainings on a variety of topics to other organizations and service providers. Training sessions can be customized to meet your specific needs and include an overview of NRS’ services and philosophy. By the end of each session, participants should have a working knowledge of the topic(s) covered.

Our team has conducted trainings and workshops for county and statewide child welfare focused organizations, county juvenile court and correction systems, international and national conferences, national and community-based helpline providers, alternative schools and others.

Sample training topics include:

  • Let’s Talk: Runaway Prevention Curriculum
  • NRS’ Trauma Responsive Solution-Focused Crisis Intervention Model
  • Youth Running from Care

To learn more about available training topics and associated fees, please contact NRS’ Chief Program Officer, Sam Gillis.
